How To Make An Insurance Claim

Filing a claim is easy!

Just follow the steps below and know we’re here to help each step of the way.

1. Contact your insurance agent/broker to file the claim.  If it is after normal business hours or if you would like to file online, below are links to the top 25 insurance carriers in our area.
   • Feel free to contact us first if you have questions or believe the repair cost may be less than your deductible amount.  By providing us with a damage summary and/or photos, we can typically advise you on whether making a claim is appropriate for your situation.  If we cannot provide you with a proper assessment over the phone, we can perform an on-site inspection.  
2. After the claim is filed, it is time to schedule your emergency service or on-site inspection meeting.  Please provide us with your administrative information and your claim number.  
3. After the emergency services and before any repairs are scheduled, there is typically a meeting with your insurance adjuster to provide a claim settlement.  Let us know when the adjuster meeting is scheduled, and we will try to attend the meeting to provide our input/pricing information.  We always strive to negotiate your claim settlement quickly so we can get your repairs underway.
   • It is important to gain the approval of your insurance claim settlement, BEFORE any work commences, to ensure you don’t incur any out-of-pocket expenses beyond your deductible.
4. Once the claim settlement is approved by your carrier, your project manager will walk you through the repair process and provide you with estimated timelines so you know how your home or commercial property will be restored.
